FAQ
Materials & Craftsmanship
Is this actually hand-made, or is it printed?
Every piece is hand-assembled — not a flat print. Depending on the design, that means hand-laid bamboo strip, knotted jute rope, sand-textured acrylic built up by hand, or genuine oil painting with a hand-painted percentage stated on the product page. Where a design starts from a printed base, the textured layer on top is applied by hand, piece by piece.
What frame options are available?
Each piece ships in the frame shown on its product page — Black, White, Natural Oak, Walnut, Whitewash, or Black & Gold, depending on the design. Frame colour is matched to each artwork and isn't currently customisable at checkout.
Sizing
What sizes are available?
Sizes vary by design — check the specific product page for exact dimensions (length x height). Most pieces range from around 60x80cm up to 90x120cm.
Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
If your piece is in stock, it ships using the delivery method shown at checkout — typically 1–3 or 1–5 business days depending on your location. If a piece is not currently in stock, it's made to order through our artisan partners, which takes approximately 4–8 weeks before dispatch. In-stock status is shown on each product page.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat $24.95, or free on orders over $300.
Payment
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — AfterPay is available at checkout, letting you split your order into four payments.
Returns, Damage & Faults
Can I return a piece if I change my mind?
Because each piece is hand-assembled, framed, and finished to order for our seasonal collections, we're not able to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.
What if my piece arrives damaged, or has a fault?
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If your artwork arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing fault, you're entitled to a replacement or refund. Contact us at hello@archerandgrove.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the external packaging and the damage itself, and we'll arrange a priority fragile courier collection and an immediate replacement.
Trade & Design Professionals
Do you offer trade pricing for designers and stylists?
Yes — our Trade Program is open to interior designers, stylists, and stockists. Apply via the Trade Program page in our main menu; once approved, you'll see trade pricing automatically when signed in.
Care
How do I care for my piece?
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity areas, which can affect both the canvas and any natural fibre elements (bamboo, jute) over time. Avoid cleaning products or moisture directly on textured or hand-painted surfaces.
