About Us

Archer & Grove started the way most good ideas do: with a problem we couldn't ignore in our own home.

We were furnishing our house and wanted the walls to feel considered — real texture, real presence, not another flat print. But everywhere we looked, good wall art was expensive. Not because it was locally made, either — most of it was imported, same as anything we could source ourselves. The price wasn't paying for the craft. It was paying for everyone standing between the maker and the wall it ended up on. And even at that price, the choice was thin — the same handful of looks, repeated across every store.

So we did the obvious thing: we went looking for the makers directly. Studios who genuinely build these pieces by hand — bamboo strip laid one length at a time, jute rope knotted into relief, acrylic worked by hand into textured surfaces, real oil paint in real brushstrokes. The same quality of construction the expensive stores were selling, sourced at the price it should actually cost when you cut out everything in between.

That's the whole idea behind Archer & Grove. Good interior design shouldn't be a tier you save up for — it should just be what's on your wall. We find the best pieces being made around the world, price them honestly, and pass the difference on to you. Every piece is inspected and finished for dispatch from our studio here in Australia, and every product page tells you exactly what it's made of and how — because knowing that shouldn't be the expensive part either.

We're building Archer & Grove into a bigger name on that same idea: fair pricing and real quality, at a scale where more homes get to have it, not fewer.
